At Brief Escapes, we believe travel should be authentic, flexible, and unforgettable. Even if you only have a few hours to spare. That’s why we’ve created short, curated experiences (3–6 hours) designed and led by locals who know their city best.
Our mission is simple:

✨ Why Brief Escapes?
We noticed a gap in travel: long tours are often expensive and exhausting, while short visits to a city leave you feeling like you missed out. Brief Escapes fills that gap by offering bite sized adventures that fit into any schedule.
Whether it’s a rooftop dinner with a local chef, a sunset hike, or a night of live music in a tucked away bar, our trips are designed to make you feel like a local, not just a tourist.

We’re a small team of travel lovers, storytellers, and city explorers. We’ve experienced first hand how difficult it can be to find authentic, non touristy things to do when traveling. Brief Escapes was born out of our desire to change that.
By connecting travelers with passionate locals, we’re building a community that values real human connection and cultural exchange.

Our goal is to bring Brief Escapes to cities all over the world, starting with Lisbon. As we grow, we’ll expand into new destinations, always keeping the focus on authenticity, community, and accessibility.
